New Jersey Landcover 1600-2050

Rutgers’ CRSSA has animated land cover (forest, freshwater wetlands, coastal wetland, and water) from 1600-predictions for 2050. Pretty amazing to watch the forest disappear before your eyes. You also see when more precise measuring methods kicked in (notice the difference in detail between 1800-1900).

Sheesh. These folks mapped all of the NJ Transit Bus routes from the paper route maps. NJ Transit doesn’t seem to have a system wide bus route map so this is super useful!
